When buying a new tap there are many models and prices to choose from making it a very intimidating process. Here are some guidelines i follow when choosing a new tap.
- is this tap you are considering a brand you know and trust
The tap you picked out may look great but will you be able to get a cartridge for this tap in five years? I usually stick with american standard, moen or delta as the parts are readily available.
- Does the tap fit your configuration
Some taps require one hole others require 3 holes and some taps require holes with different spacing then what may be there already.
- Does the new tap fit my needs. Some people like a basic tap while others prefer a pullout wand, some like the convenience of a soap dispenser, make sure this tap will fit your needs for years to come.
